General's Response on Slavery

A little bit about the relationship between the Confederacy, the neo-Confederacy, and Christianity. A sermon by James Thornwell, with commentary. Confederate Christianity has a peculiar theory of freedom: it thinks that freedom consists in mastery and slavery.
